Course Description

Our courses are specifically designed to accommodate the educational needs of those whom are seeking either state or national certification.

If you are seeking a national credential, we offer a one-day course. For those seeking state certification, we will be offering a one-day course that covers didactic and hands-on reviews.

Additional materials will be provided to attendees that allow them to continue to improve their knowledge and confidence, even after they have completed our course.

During our courses, you will have the opportunity to interact with highly qualified instructors who have extensive teaching, clinical, and office management experience.


State and National Course Materials Covered

Infection Control
OSHA methods and other government agencies regulations. SDS sheets, disposal of sharps, bloodborne pathogens, identification of hazardous chemicals. Major microorganisms, viral diseases, bacterial diseases, and pandemic diseases.

Chairside 
This segment reviews the importance of various chairside procedures, which included: chair positioning, instrumentation, suctioning, dental charting and dental classifications, anatomy, with an overview of pharmacology, specialties, and medical emergencies.

Practice Management 
Review the dental insurance form and completing the form, reviewing scheduling patients, phone etiquette, communications in the office, HIPAA, the day sheet, and marketing the practice.

Radiography 
This segment provides the students with the information needed to understand radiation, how to use radiography equipment safely in the dental office, and an explanation on how to produce radiographs that are of the best diagnostic quality, mounting and film errors.

After each segment there is a short test, which is designed to enhance the learning experiences of the candidate and where she/he needs to concentrate studies for the state or national exam.
